Connecting - face to face!
Technology, including online social communities such as facebook and MySpace, has changed the way relationship is being defined in our society. Cyber relationships seem to becoming the norm and less time is left or prioritized for face to face connections... It's time to stop and connect – face to face!
At Fair Havens, our desire is to give you and your family an opportunity to temporarily put aside the pressures of work and home life and come away to rest, rejuvenate and re-invest in relationships. Each week provides a variety of opportunities to connect meaningfully with our Creator God, family members and friends. It is our firm belief that as these relationships are nourished, the JOY of life and family will increase and provide the foundation and strength to face the challenges of life in your community and to embrace the opportunities of testifying to others about your faith.
We conducted a series of random surveys of guests in 2009 and 100% of respondents indicated 'strongly agree' or 'agree' to the question: 'My family was strengthened and encouraged by coming to Fair Havens'.
Why not come and join this statistic in 2010?
Be sure to check out our special discounts for summer 2010 and also how you can invite others to become part of the Fair Havens family through the 'friends of Fair Havens' program!
If you have already booked – Why not connect another family to Fair Havens by passing on this guide to them?
We are looking forward to serving and connecting with you face to face, in the name of our Saviour, Jesus Christ!

p.s. Price increases... ouch. You will notice that for some services and programs we have had to increase our pricing structure for 2010. Rising labour (minimum wage increase), utility and food service delivery costs have necessitated these adjustments. However, we are committed to delivering high value for all our guests and will strive to work as efficiently as possible in delivering our programs and services to help keep the Fair Havens experience accessible to all. If your family requires some financial support, please do not hesitate to contact Liz Thompson and we can determine if our family sponsorship program can be of assistance. For many of you, the net impact of the HST implementation (specific to charities) will actually be a positive thing and you may notice little change to the bottom line from previous years.
