Fair Havens Ministries is a year-round conference and retreat facility. We have been catering to individuals and church-based groups for over 60 years and are committed to meeting the needs of your group and providing outstanding service in all we do. With over 200 acres nestled along 3 km of the scenic Talbot River along the Trent Water System Fair Havens offers an accessible and beautiful retreat facility. We are located just 120 km (75 miles) north of Toronto on Highway #48 East.

Our Retreat Coordinator is available to assist in the design and implementation of a personalized retreat package for your group. We offer two different styles of retreat packages - Fair Havens Retreat Centre provides an ideal place for large and small groups of families or adults to enjoy a variety of accommodation styles ranging from hotel style rooms to lodge style buildings as well as an extensive selection of meeting rooms; Fair Glen Youth Camp is geared towards youth groups as well as other groups requiring a more economical alternative with simpler accommodations (bunk beds) and smaller meeting rooms. Both venues offer buffet style food service.

Amenities available to our retreat groups include:

Connexion Cafe - Our snack bar is open during office hours on Saturdays. Additional hours are available by special arrangement.

The WORD Shoppe - Fully stocked Christian book, music and gift shop. Standard hours of operation are open during office hours on Saturdays. Additional hours are available by special arrangement.

Computer Workstations and Internet Access - Fair Havens participates in a Community Access Program (CAP) and has several computers available for guests including the MS Office software package, and Internet access.  Certain policies apply for use.

Meeting Rooms - a variety of meeting rooms and audio/visual equipment are available.

Recreation Activities

A variety of activities are available for participation by your group depending upon the time of year. (Note: all water activities are available from May to Thanksgiving)Please ask our Retreat Coordinator for details. Possibilities include:
