Tomorrow is Earth Day! What action can you take to steward natural spaces nearby where you live?
Here are a few pictures of our Outdoor Creation Experiences Program Interns helping to control a scary invasive species called Phragmites. We are protecting our wetland and river shoreline so that we can continue sharing Pond Study and Canoe Lessons with students! The turtles say thanks for protecting their home too!

Today marked many firsts for the Outdoor Creation

Today marked many firsts for the Outdoor Creation Experiences program: the first highschool maple syrup trip + in French tours of "la cabane à sucre" + the first school group meal back in the Fair Glen Dining hall since February 2020!

Thank you to all the staff who helped make this possible and for the patience of school groups this past spring/fall/winter as we finished the reopening process.

Over 100 people attended our 3rd annual Winter Family Day event at the Fair Glen Outdoor Education Centre. Thanks to all the families who submitted their feedback forms to help us continue improving this event experience! Watch this video for the raffle winners!

The Fair Glen Outdoor Education Centre became a ne

The Fair Glen Outdoor Education Centre became a new training location for the Outdoor Council of Canada this past weekend. Leaders gained knowledge/experience with program & event planning, group management, outdoor risk assessment and grew in their confidence at sharing the outdoors with future participants. We also included a winter leadership certification to learn how managing the complexities in a colder environment can build group resilience.

We are excited as we equip and send these leaders out to improve event leadership & programming in the outdoor industry!

It felt like Spring this week as Innova Academy Highschool students hiked the Goldfinch trail as part of our Outdoor Christian Education programs. On this nature hike students learned about how God provides for the animals to survive throughout the winter months.
