The alternative to ski lessons (if warm weather/lack of snow) will be High Ropes Climbing Challenges (Gr.4+) and Low Rope balancing practice (Gr.1-3 or anyone who isn’t comfortable with heights).

Make it a LONG WEEKEND: local tourism attractions

This year families can arrive early for the long-weekend by using our on-site accommodations and our staff will recommend nearby outdoor recreation fun or restaurants for you to enjoy while in the area.

We are partnering with The Haliburton Wolf Centre and a new restaurant in Minden downtown called TOAST as day trip destinations from Fair Havens. 

Before or after the event we recommend swinging by downtown Beaverton to Shortis Cafe + Hotel for a gourmet sandwich, baked treat or fancy hot drink. Or if you plan for a couple’s long weekend, rent one of their upstairs hotel rooms and enjoy a breakfast/lunch in the cafe.
