Here are our teachers for Summer Camp 2020:

Bob Beasley

Week 1: July 4-11

Bob Beasley is a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, dad and grandfather. Since March 2011, he has been Vice-President of International Ministry for The Bible League of Canada. He was a teacher before entering full-time ministry in 1981. Bob has pastored churches, led youth ministry, directed camping programs and produced radio programs. Since 2003 has
produced “Words from the Heart”, a daily radio program and podcast. He lives in Chatham, Ontario with his wife Wendy. Together they have three happily married sons and four grandchildren.

Terry Sanderson

Week 2: July 11-18

Terry Sanderson was raised on a dairy farm in Southwestern Ontario. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, he received a Masters of Theology Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary with a major in Pastoral Ministry. He served 20 years in pastoral ministry at North Park Community Church (AGC) in London, ON. In 2009, he moved to the suburbs of St. Louis, MO where he is the Lead Pastor at Calvary Church. Terry is married to Chantelle and they have 3 daughters - Jenna, Jadyn and Jovanna.

Matt Naismith

Week 3: July 18-25

Matt is the Pastor of Teaching & Vision for Church of the City in Guelph, Ontario, a church he planted several years ago. Prior to church-planting, Matt served as a teaching pastor in youth and young adult ministry. Passionate about the local church, he is eager to see God’s people reclaim their identity in Christ as a family of missionary disciples, following Jesus where they live, work, learn and play. Matt has been married to wife Andrea for 10 years and they have two boys, Nixon and Cade. You can find them at any of Guelph’s Planet Bean locations, sipping a single origin and enjoying a vegan almond cookie.

Rob Cripps

Week 4: July 25 - August 1

Rob Cripps has been at Capstone Community Bible Church (AGC) since 2008. He is the Lead Pastor of Preaching and Vision. Prior to moving to Capstone, Rob spent 8 years in youth ministry, at King Bible Church. He is currently working on his Doctorate of Practical Theology at McMaster Divinity College. Rob has spent over two decades working with youth both within the church and in his community. When he is not preaching, you can find Rob on the mats at his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy. Rob has been married to Becky since 2000 and has four children: Jackson, Lucy, Charlotte and Elijah.

Norm Millar

Week 5: August 1-8

Norm Millar is the Senior Pastor at Harvest Bible Chapel, London, ON. Before going into ministry, Norm had an 18-year career in computer software design and project management. Norm obtained his MDiv from The Master's Seminary in Los Angeles. In 2000, he planted, with 30 others, SouthWest Community Church in London, ON. SouthWest transitioned to Harvest Bible Chapel in 2006. Norm graduated in May 2017 with his DMin (focus on preaching) from Southern Seminary. He has been married to Cindy for 39 years, and they have five children and 13 grandchildren.

Scott Stein

Week 6: August 8-15

Scott Stein serves as President and Apologist for Prepared to Answer, London. Scott is a London native who holds a BA in Administrative and Commercial studies, an MDiv and an MA in Christian Apologetics. Having served as a pastor for eleven years, Scott maintains the conviction that the local church is God’s chosen instrument for world transformation through the gospel of Jesus Christ. With a pastor’s heart, Scott longs to see the church in Canada thrive as it produces confident and mature disciples of Jesus Christ who are prepared to confront the battle ground of ideas that ensnare Christians and hold Canadian culture captive against receiving the “good news” found in Christ. Scott lives near London, Ontario with his wife and two children.

Daniel Winter

Week 7: August 15-22

Daniel Winter is the Senior Pastor at Calvary Church (AGC), Toronto, ON where he has served for the past four years. Previous to that, he was the pastor for eleven years, at the Metropolitan Church in Ottawa. Daniel has a heart for the inner-city. Calvary Church is a 90 year old inner-city church located across the street from a busy subway and TTC bus stop. Today, Calvary is a diverse multi-cultural congregation made up of people from almost every continent. Daniel grew up in a pastor's home. When Daniel is not preaching, he enjoys construction projects with his wife, Wendy. (Not surprising as they met at the hardware store where they both worked as teenagers!)

Brad Mellette

Week 8: August 22-29

Brad Mellette is Senior Pastor of Grace Church (AGC), Verdun in Montreal, QC, where he has served since 2005 when he first entered pastoral ministry. He is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and Moody Theological Seminary. He currently resides in Brossard, QC along with his wife, Melissa, and four young children. Brad's heart is to see the saints mature in their walk with Christ, which he believes is the mandate of the collective Body of Christ. He has taken this message to several venues including conferences, camps and churches during his tenure as pastor.

David Elliott

Week 9: August 29 - September 5

Rev. David Elliott sensed God's call to pastoral ministry while serving as a pastoral intern at his home church, Alta Vista Baptist Church, in the summer of 1983. Since that time David has had the privilege of pastoring four congregations. 35 years later, the Lord recently opened a unique opportunity for him to return to Ottawa and pastor his home church; the place where he was saved, baptized, discipled and called into pastoral ministry. He believes passionately in the local church and champions twin truths; living things grow and growing things change. David has been spoiled by the Lord with his incredible wife, Lisa, and four godly children (three on earth and one in heaven). He is also thankful for two beautiful grandsons.
